Come for the run. Stay for the week.

Make a week of it

The Rhodes Run falls in the winter school holidays, and a great many runners bring their families and turn it into a week away rather than a Saturday morning.

It is a long drive in and a long drive out, and this is not a place you want to see in a hurry.

There is fly fishing in more than 400 kilometres of clear mountain streams, some of the best pass driving in South Africa, riding, hiking, snow at Tiffindell when it falls, and a village that is genuinely pleased to have you.

Where to eat

Walkerbouts Inn
